Hello!

Thanks for visiting my website.

I have been writing for most of my life but only recently began to make serious attempts at getting my fiction writing published.   Like many people, some parts of my childhood were harrowing and some parts were exhilarating.  Certain aspects of this makes excellent fodder for writing.  I spent most of my childhood wishing I was an adult and now that I am, I have never looked back with regret over wishing away my younger years.

I am lucky enough to live with a man I absolutly adore.  Between us we have created 3 beautiful sons and more often than not, we have a house full of laughing boys.  At those times  I ask myself,  'Does life get any better than this?'

We both work full time and we both love to write.  I tend to write a little or a lot every day and he writes  in phases, so sometimes we have to be creative about sharing computer time. I am sure it helps a great deal that we have both experienced the overwhelming urge to write down stories before the thread is lost.  I get up at 5 am, to write and maintain the website, until our youngest gets up. I write after he has gone to bed.  I write while my partner is in the bath, I write while our youngest watches tv. I write in my dreams, I write in my head on the way to work, when I am in the bath or shower, while I am gardening.  Am I an addict?  Oooohhhh yes!

I call my writing 'my exquisite dreams' as everything that comes out of me seems to have been stirring somewhere inside of me until it is brought forth in an array of shimmering words, much as my dreams unfold at night.

I write academic articles, poetry and fiction.  My poetry often originates from the fabric of my night time dreams. The fiction is where I feel myself become lost, wrapped up in the exquisite dreams that flow continuously from somewhere inside me.

I wrote my first erotic story, Driftwood,  as a treat for my partner.  Some months later, I attended a writers talk by Della Galton who suggested I approach Cathryn Cooper at Xcite books.   Much to my delight they liked it and offered to publish it; I took exactly 0.1 of a millisecond to consider their offer and have had 4 stories published by them since that time.

Although I no longer write erotica, that first, marvellous, experience of being published set me on the path to trying to get some of my non erotic fiction published.

I hope my stories left you with a smile on your face.  Send me an email with your comments or sugestions.
